Neil Thornock’s LDS 2008 Commission, Corrugated Refrains, written for solo bass clarinet, was premiered in the Kopleff Recital Hall at Georgia State University on April 20, 2010. The piece was performed by clarinetist Kenneth Long, Woodwind Coordinator and assistant professor of clarinet at GSU. The following year, on March 8, 2011, Dr. Long again performed the piece, this time in the Madsen Recital Hall of Brigham Young University.
