Evis Sammoutis’ new General Commission, Breath, premiered in Julliard’s Paul Hall in New York City on January 23, 2012. It was performed by The New York Woodwind Quintet as a part of the Daniel Saidenberg Faculty Recital Series.
Sammoutis also won second place in the New Note 1st International Composers Competition, held in Croatia in 2012, hosted by the Samobor Music Festival. To read more about this award, please click here.
